Aersys, Inc. is making next generation automation accessible to everyone. While companies at the top innovate to stay ahead, we innovate to bring everyone along. Our flagship product, the AerNode, is a modular robotic MicroFulfillment Center (MFC) that lets companies automate small-parts inventory, offer roadside pickup (BOPIS), leverage automated delivery with drones and rovers, and create grab-and-go experiences for customers. Tools normally reserved for giant e-commerce companies will now help small and large business compete on a level playing field.
We’re a team of builders, problem-solvers, tinkerers, and nonconformists. Collectively, we form a scenius that challenges the way things have always been done. We think from first principles, understand that failures are just stops on the road to success, and care more about our impact on the world than our bottom line.
The most amazing things happen when you're somewhere new. While we spend a lot of time in the office, it's always good to spend some time working from home or in a someplace different.
25 DAYS + UNLIMITED PTO
We have an unlimited PTO policy and we don't track when you come to work. But just to make sure you are getting the break you deserve, we push everyone to take at least 25 days off each year. And you will never need to ask for permission.
NO "MANAGER"
We expect our employees to be independent and use good judgement. As a result, we don't need managers. Team leads are still responsible for projects, but you can choose which project (and team lead) you want to work with.
DESTRESS WITH SNACKS & GAMES
With all the exciting and fast-paced progress, it's easy to forget essentials like food, relaxation, and sleep. We stock snacks and drinks and have dedicated areas for games and quick naps. And like every startup, we have a ping pong table!
ACCESS TO EQUIPMENT
Our R&D Lab is filled with industrial equipment like laser cutters, UV printers, CNCs, 3D printers and more. Whenever a machine is not being used, you are welcome to use it for personal projects. Equipment training is part of onboarding.
DYNAMIC WORKSPACE
We have an dynamic open plan layout where you can move your desk to wherever you want it. And since not everyone is productive in an open-plan office, there are also plenty of quiet rooms to concentrate or take a break.
